Leaps N Beats began in 2016 with a simple idea: children should be able to enjoy dance in a positive, encouraging place that builds confidence as much as technique.
We wanted dance to feel good.
After years teaching across studios, competition teams, exam programs and primary schools, Paris saw how easily pressure and comparison could start to overshadow the fun.
She wanted to create something different: a studio that was warm, encouraging and technically strong, where children could build skills, friendships and confidence without losing the reason they started dancing in the first place.
That idea became Leaps N Beats.
Ten years on, the goal is still simple.

Meet Paris.
Paris has been immersed in dance since childhood and completed seven years of intensive professional training, including programs with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance.
With 17 years of teaching experience across Melbourne studios and primary schools, she created Leaps N Beats around a belief that great dance training and a positive experience should go hand in hand.
What she still loves most is watching children grow in confidence over time, getting to know the families behind them, and seeing the studio become part of their childhood.
Ten years, two studios, one community.
Some dancers joined us as toddlers and are now growing through primary school with us. That sense of familiarity, trust and connection is a big part of what Leaps N Beats has become.
